Can a pump remove the last film of water?
Pumps generally leave some residual water. Wet extraction equipment may be needed for shallow water and surface moisture.
Will extraction dry the floor structure?
No. Water may remain in screeds, timber, insulation and other layers after standing water is removed.
Can water be extracted from upper floors?
Access, hose routing and the effect on rooms below are assessed before selecting suitable extraction equipment.
Does dirty water need different equipment?
Sediment and contamination affect equipment choice and the subsequent cleaning and waste arrangements.
What if water returns after pumping?
