Before you call

A few things
worth knowing.

Keep clear of standing water and affected electrical equipment. Tell the team about any contamination or access hazards when you call.

Can I call at night or on a weekend?

The enquiry line is available 24 hours. Give the postcode, water source and affected rooms; attendance and price are confirmed for the address.

What happens after the standing water is removed?

Walls, floors and concealed materials are checked for retained moisture. Cleaning and a drying plan can then be agreed before damaged finishes are repaired.

Can a flooded carpet always be saved?

No. The water source, contamination, time wet and condition of the carpet and underlay determine whether cleaning is suitable or removal is needed.

Do you handle sewage-contaminated flooding?

Describe the suspected source when calling. Contaminated water requires a different cleanup plan, protective equipment and assessment of porous materials.

What information helps with an enquiry?

Give the full postcode, affected rooms, approximate water depth, when the leak or flood began and any access restrictions. Send photographs only if they can be taken safely.

How long will drying take?

There is no single timetable. Wall and floor construction, hidden moisture, temperature and the spread of damage all affect drying. Progress is assessed using moisture readings.

Can you provide information for an insurer?

Ask about photographs, moisture readings and a written scope of damage when enquiring. Confirm your insurer’s requirements; an inspection does not guarantee cover or claim acceptance.

Do you restore business premises as well as homes?

Enquiries are accepted for houses, flats, shops, offices and other premises. Explain access hours, affected stock or equipment and any areas that must remain separated from the work.
