Flooded Carpet Cleaning

No. Contamination, the time wet, fibre and backing condition all affect whether restoration is appropriate.

Surface extraction does not guarantee that the underlay and subfloor are dry. They need separate assessment.

Sewage contamination can make porous flooring unsuitable for retention. The assessment determines the removal scope.

An odour may indicate remaining moisture or contamination. Its source needs assessment rather than masking.

Discuss drying and protection first; placing furniture onto damp carpet can affect both the carpet and furniture.

Not always. Damage to carpet backing, adhesives or fibres can make replacement necessary.

Carpet area, contamination, lifting and refitting, underlay replacement and drying requirements affect the price.

Explain the water source, how long the carpet has been wet and whether underlay or nearby rooms are affected. Call 0800 111 6480 to confirm the scope, price and attendance.
